Viruses? What
viruses? Macs don't get viruses,
spyware, unwanted pop-ups and other malware so
there's no need to pay for or run
performance-hogging, time-wasting, anti-virus and
anti-spyware software.

Macs do Windows too! - Why buy anything else if
you can get two computers in one?
If you have a Mac with Intel processor and
absolutely must run a Windows application for
which there is no Mac equivalent (are you sure?
check Versiontracker,
Macupdate,
Apple's Mac
Product Guide or any of the other links at
the bottom of this page), Snow Leopard includes
Boot Camp
Assistant software for running Windows...
buy yourself a copy of Windows XP SP2, Vista or
Windows 7 and boot into one of the fastest PCs
on the planet!
If you prefer to use both Mac OS X and Windows
at the same time, get a copy of Parallels Desktop for Mac
or VMware Fusion
(and Windows XP
SP2, Vista or Windows 7)
and you can have the best of both worlds at the
same time. Both Parallels and Fusion run
Windows in a window in OS X and can also be run
full-screen where you can switch between
Windows and OS X with a single keystroke.
Copying files from one environment to the other
is just a drag and drop away.
Warning!
Booting into windows opens your Mac to all the
nasty insecurities of any other Windows PC so
be very careful and make sure that you've
installed all the latest Windows security fixes (till tomorrow,
anyway, when you'll have to update again).
In any case, your Mac environment will not be
affected.
